TradePrep — Privacy Policy

TradePrep is an exam study app published by Gowalk. This policy describes the iOS, Android and web app and its hosted introductory, subscription and support pages.

Study data on your device

Your answers, study results, bookmarks, review schedule, selected exam tracks and preferences are stored on your device. The web app uses your browser’s local storage. TradePrep does not create a user account or upload a study profile. Native analytics may record summary activity, such as an exam-track identifier, question count, correct-answer count and readiness score, as described below. Its question bank is included in the app, so studying works offline.

Use Settings → Reset all progress to remove study history, bookmarks and review progress. Removing the app or clearing the web app’s site data removes its local data through your device or browser’s controls. Copies you previously exported or shared remain wherever you saved or sent them.

Network pages

The mobile app loads its introduction, subscription offer, product identifiers and legal pages from trade-prep-dgg4.gowalk.com. Page requests include the app identifier, language and platform so the appropriate page can be displayed. The hosting service receives connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver these requests. The app does not send your study answers or history with these requests. The hosted introduction and subscription pages also send interaction events, such as page views, step completion, closing an offer, notification choices, and purchase or restore taps. These events include the app identifier, flow, language, platform and, where relevant, the selected product or step. They help us understand use of these pages and improve their operation; a purchase tap does not itself establish a completed transaction.

Purchases and restoration

Apple App Store or Google Play processes subscriptions and payments. TradePrep receives purchase status and product identifiers to enable Pro access and restore purchases. It keeps a limited purchase-status cache locally for offline access. The app does not receive your payment-card details. The store maintains its own transaction records under its privacy policy.

Deleting study progress or uninstalling TradePrep does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account. Settings provides purchase restoration and subscription-management routes.

Reminders, sharing and optional reviews

Study reminders are scheduled locally after notification permission is granted. You can change reminders in TradePrep and notification permission in device settings.

Export and sharing occur only when you choose them. The system share sheet lets you select the recipient or destination; the selected service handles that shared copy under its own policy.

On each cold launch, the mobile app checks locally whether WhatsApp is installed to decide whether to offer an optional app-rating invitation. This result stays on your device and is not sent to us or used for advertising. Accepting the invitation requests the native store review interface. The store controls whether that interface appears and handles any rating you submit.

Analytics and advertising

The mobile app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand app use and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose failures. Analytics receives app interactions, screen and session activity, summary study counts and scores, subscription-screen and restore events, and device and app information. Search events include only the length of the query, not its text. These services use installation, device and session identifiers; Analytics may also use an available advertising identifier for analytics and infer an approximate location from connection information. The app does not request precise location.

Crashlytics receives crash reports, error stack traces, device and operating-system details, app version and state, installation identifiers and recent interaction breadcrumbs. This helps us investigate reliability problems. These services process information on our behalf under Google’s applicable terms. The hosted-page interaction events described above are separate from Firebase. TradePrep contains no advertising feature and does not use this information for cross-app advertising tracking.

Analytics and crash records are retained according to the configured service retention settings and operational needs; local study data remains governed by your device controls. Support and data questions

Contact the support page for help or privacy questions. If you email support, the information you include is used to respond to your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or purchase authentication codes.

Local study data remains under your device or browser’s controls until you remove it. Store transaction records, hosting service records and messages you send to support are separate from local study data. Contact support with questions or requests about information you have provided to us.
